Up for Arts Over the coming months Voluntary Arts England in collaboration with BBC Radio Merseyside will be programming numerous events to encourage and enable the people across the whole of Merseyside to get involved with arts and crafts available to them on their doorstep. Up For Arts is starting a revolution, an arts and crafts revolution and we want you to join us. We are gathering together all the information we can about arts and crafts in Merseyside, and we want you to have a look and see what you fancy and participate…
From animation to acting, brass bands to ballroom, film making to folk dancing, photography to pottery, wood turning to writing, and every nook and cranny in between – there are hundreds of opportunities to have a go at. There’s nothing stopping you…

Participation In The Arts (PITA) Participation In The Arts (PITA) is the home of public participation in the arts and crafts and all things related to arts participation. This resource has been developed following a manifesto for public participation in the arts & crafts which addresses how everyone, regardless of who they are or where they are, can find meaningful ways to participate across the whole spectrum of arts and crafts.
Voluntary Arts England urges as many people as possible to visit www.participationinthearts.net to register and pledge your support for the manifesto and use the website as a forum to continue the discussions about how we best encourage, increase and diversify participation in the arts
